It looks like we might actually be into the cooler fall weather around here. Quint, for whom it’s always cool weather season, has rediscovered the joy of fleecy blanket forts on Dad’s new downstairs bed. Nearby, Tessa practices her morning yoga because sometimes you can’t have too much yoga. Secretly, we think she’s trying to make up for not doing any yoga all summer long.
It’s not a secret, Mom.
Whatever, Tessa. As long as you can live with your decisions. We can see you are feeling very content at the moment because you’re usual pink nose is a very calm white color.
*purr*
Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Viola’s been experiencing difficulty lately jumping up on the kitchen island to lay in her favorite box. Last week, there was a slight incident with her jumping up and landing on a mat that knocked over a mug of iced coffee. Not at all being a coffee enthusiast, she jumped down and stomped off elsewhere. She may have muttered something about her island becoming too cluttered to be enjoyable, and has since been napping on Dad’s new bed.
All this makes Mom happy to have the kitchen island back so immediately, Mom placed Viola’s island box on the floor next to a heat register, hoping Viola might take to it there and stop jumping up on the island. So far, so good.
Until then, maybe Viola will take to Dad’s new bed as well as Quint and Tessa have. And maybe they’ll all get along doing so. Stranger things have happened . . .
