October, we’re happy to see you! We hope you bring cooler weather and rain sooner rather than later. We’d really like rain on the last week of the month, please. Every day if possible. September, thank you for being cooler than most previous Septembers, and for bringing a touch of warm summer rain here and there. Most appreciated! Say, let’s meet and do that again next year, okay?
In the good news column, Dad’s new mattress will arrive today and shortly, will be ready for all October cooler weather cats!

I love October, it is my favorite month. Glad the mattress is going to be there today.
Yes to a bit cooler and a bit wetter. Why you want rain every day the last week of the month is a mystery to me, but if you need it, may it happen.
Hooray for your dad’s new mattress arriving today! October arrived with autumnal morning mists , and cooler (cold!) temperatures. September was cooler than average and 150% of the month’s rainfall in the first 10 days. I hope October will be drier, but not too dry.
