I slept late today, something I never do. Just can’t wake up yet. Must have been all those household chores* Mom made me to the other day. Or maybe it was listening to all the chores she signed me up to do next weekend. Maybe I deserve to sleep late. Maybe I should go back to bed. What time is it anyway?
It’s time for all us late sleepers to shine, my orangie brother. Days like today are made for long, late morning sleeping. Here’s a tip: If you look like you’re sleeping, no one will bother you with chores. Always works for me!
*Colehaus Cats do chores? *snort* As if! If Quint overslept it was most likely because he was digging through one of two toyboxes until after midnight, scattering toys all over the floor of the Cat Den. That, and he probably hit snooze on his alarm clock too many times.
Today’s Quint’s 13th gotcha-versary. If that doesn’t deserve a late sleeping morning, we don’t know what else would.
