Dear Niblets, Week Three.

Dear Niblets,

What a big jump you had over the last week! You were roly-poly things and now, you’re almost miniature cats on the go! And such bitey little things you’ve become!

Pretty Illy, you are turning into a real beauty! And such calmness! We don’t see that often in cats ten times your age. We’re pretty sure we’ll change our mind on that in the coming weeks.

Sweet little Viola, kudos to you for being the first to figure out how to get in and out of your nursing box. You made it easy for us to graduate everyone from box to the entire pen. We love how much you’re walking around, Viola, but we wish you’d eat just a wee bit more on your own every day.

Robbie Bobbie Boo, you have us under your spell with your loud purring, the first of the Niblets to do so. And the first to attempt running on a regular basis. Not that you’re any good at it; you’ll figure it out. Ditto like Viola; run less, eat more. And we love your continued wide-eyed attention whenever we enter the room, you little Niblet Ambassador of Adorableness. And what’s this? You like cuddling now? Squeeeee!

Gentle Russell, we can’t thank you enough for always seeking out your littlest sister Viola to snuggle with at nap time. She needs a big guy like you. Even though she’s an hour older, we know she loves you as her big/little baby brother.

We hope your mama is whispering sweet dreams in your ears every night and telling you all about becoming big cats. We can’t think of any other mama who would care for and love you better than she. You are her world and ours too. Grow strong, little ones. We’re looking forward to next week!

Kisses and love,
your human mom and dad

Mom justs wants to get down on the floor and play with those adorable little Niblets and have them crawl all over her. We are so glad there is no chance of that happening. Thank you so much for sharing these cutie pies with us. They are growing up so fast. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  6. I am just a “squeeing” mess over here!

  7. With all that kitten cuteness in your house, how do you get anything done? We’d just sit and stare at them all day, whether they’re playing or napping – they’re just so adorable.

  8. We too are doing the awwww thing. Lovely. Have a super Saturday.

I truly love all of them and I wish little one would get to nurse more. Do the bigger babies kinda keep her from her place at the table?
I got my Starry Night and Quint is as excellent an artiste as ever. <3

We wish little Viola would eat more too but this is just the way she likes it. She’s a stickler for the rules and she thinks she should be right where our standard guidelines say, which is 13 ounces at 3 weeks of age. She’s over that by almost 2 ounces, but don’t tell her that. The bigger Niblets don’t push her out of the way at all. She’s just as fierce at latching onto a nipple as any of them!

  18. Could there be anything cuter than these Niblets?

    The Florida Furkids

  19. How is it possible you guys get even more cuter with each passing day!

  20. meowmeowmans says:

Oh, we so love, love, love reading about the Niblets’ progress! 🙂

  21. Thank you for letting me know…

  22. SCREEE! You got a little Waffles Too with Russell. TW is still partial to Viola. After seeing the videos, Pop is telling me how he wishes he could have seen me at that age and imagining how very cute I was.

  23. Bit of a squeeefest going on here!!! 🙂

  24. Dear Miss Viola,
Don’t you worry about anything, you just grow and do like your gonna. I only weigh 6 lbs and I’m a full grown ladycat. Besides, who wants to end up a big old tabby like your brother Russell or my brother Dexter? (tee hee).
    Willow
pee ess: We wonder if Pia taught Russell the toung move? We remember!

  25. Marg12 says:

You can see those kittens growing in the video. They are so so cute and healthy looking. My favorite is Robbie. Love the tabby with no tail.

  26. Thank you for letting us all tune in to the Niblets growing up. They are so adorable!
