What luck! I was wandering around and I just happened across this perfectly sized seat and imagine my surprise when I found it was pre-warmed and everything! I may not move for days!

Dad: Hey! I was sitting there! I only got up for a minute.

Sorry, dad. All’s fair in love and chairs. I think that’s how it goes. *wink*

  1. We do the same thing with the TV; if you are watching but leave the room and someone else sits down, then the new arrival can change the channel! We’ve also set up a third chair at the table, just in case a cat takes a vacated seat but the human is still eating their dinner. Miss Newton is a doll kitty! And I picked out a fabulous frame for my new piece of Quint art.

That’s right. I do this all of the time. Signed, Benny.

  3. prancer pie says:

Pre-warmed seat space is at a minimum when you have more cats than humans in your household (like ours). Finders, keepers we say!

  4. Marg says:

Uh Oh Guess Dad is out of luck. You cruise, you lose. The Mom around here gets her seat taken all the time. Glad you found that nice warm seat.

  5. Brian says:

Oh, Dad seriously doesn’t think your moving is an option does he?

  6. pilch92 says:

That is how it works around here 🙂

  7. Ooops we like to sit where Mum has been sitting before the cushion got cold.

  12. Mom comes back to her office chair taken by some kitty in our house all the time.

  13. Your dad should warm your chair for you every day, Miss Newton. After all, that’s the proper thing to do, right? Purrs!

  14. manxmnews2014 says:

I see your name carefully etched on that seat Miss Newton!

  15. meowmeowmans says:

Yup. That’s exactly how it goes, Miss Newton! 🙂

Sorry we haven’t been around much. Many thanks for your kindness in the wake of Moosey’s passing. He was a very special boy, and we love and miss him so much. The outpouring of love and support by our friends has been such an encouragement during this difficult time.

  16. mochasmysteriesandmeows says:

Finders keepers, losers weepers!!! Your cards are just beautiful!!!

  17. You are so right, Newton. Your dad needs to find another chair…and when he gets up from that one, you should sit there, too. 😉

  19. Flynn says:

Doesn’t your dad know that the minute he gets up he loses the right to his chair?
