Every day I’m growing bigger and stronger, three month-old Viola says. Watch what I can do in just the blink of an eye!

With my keen hopping skills, I climb up here, and then…

Using all my toesies, I jump and pull myself up to the third level of the old cat tower. I don’t know why it’s called the old cat tower. It’s all new to me!

Then I scritchy-scratch the post because all big cats do that. I saw that on TV once. The announcer said it was very becoming.

Then I race to the edge and using magic and a half spin-turn, I fling myself up here. You don’t have to look at my stumpy rump if you don’t want to but my human mom says it’s ten hairs and some air is kind of cute. Ewwwww!

And that’s when I end up on top where I see I’ve got the place to myself. This is the best place for sitting and thinking and being as I’m growing, you bet I’ve got a lot of thinking to accomplish!

And then I settle into my usual, every day lounging position. I sit like this every morning while pondering life. I mean, why change a good thing if it works, right?

And if someone else wanders along and they don’t like seeing me up here thinking, well, we know what they can do and phfffft to them!

My human mom says I shouldn’t stick my tongue out at others. I’m sorry… but sometimes I can’t help myself! Tongues can’t be for just cleaning, can it? See? It’s things like this I have to think about!

  31. Wow, Viola! Look at you up there! What a big strong and clever girl you are! I’m well impressed! And thank you again for helping Tessa and your human mom Carole to pick my name amongst all those who put their names in for the 2014 with the very, very handsome Quint as the cover boy. I love my new calendar and it’s in my craft work room on the wall nearest to my work table (along with my three cats, who always like to help me with my art and crafts projects). You are just so lovely and fun, Viola…not to mention very deep-thinkingly adorable.
