09/13/2017 – Wordless Wednesday but with Breaking News!

***BREAKING NEWS! BREAKING NEWS!***

Teese was adopted yesterday!

We are so unbelievably happy for sweet Teese and wish her the very best in her forever home. We feel so happy to have been here for her when she wasn’t sure what her world had or would become. Thank you all for reading and commenting on posts about Teese over the past seven months or so. Your words helped strengthened our resolve to get her off the streets, out of potential danger, and into the best place possible for adoption. And it happened!

Look out! Another full moon is upon us… as Sunny lets us know. Or would those be her full sun eyes?

Sweet Teese is officially up for adoption now at our favorite No-Kill shelter. Her PetFinder page is here, and you might recognize her photos from her visits here. We are so thankful to everyone at the shelter for helping her out and working hard to find her the perfect home. Teese is so deserving of a life full of love.

08/28/2017 – Monday News with Teese

If you didn’t catch our breaking news last Friday, Teese was accepted into our local No-Kill shelter where she will have her best shot at adoption. No more living with raccoons, no more getting beat up by neighbor cat W, no more worrying about her out alone in the weather.

We took Teese to the shelter Saturday, after Miss Newton’s latest blood pressure recheck, and Mom’s been a blubbering mess of sniffles and tears ever since. Don’t let anyone tell you fostering/caring for cats who are not yours is easy. After working to gain Teese’s trust since last December, it’s hard to look out in the backyard and not see that black and white sweetheart comfortably lounging somewhere, waiting for human attention.

Teese is easing into shelter living where she’s getting lots of attention and we hope, making new friends. Please join us in celebrating the next step in Teese’s transition from abandoned to looking for her forever home with a final baker’s dozen photos:
