So, we’re minding our own business and from out of the Cat Den we hear little chirps and squeaks.
“What’s that?” we asked ourselves and sneaked ever so quietly to peek around the corner with camera in hand.

There’s Ruby chatting away, having a full-on conversation with herself (and undoubtedly anyone else who might have been listening). The sun had been out, spring birds were soaring past the windows all willy-nilly and the heated bed she was laying on was warm and toasty. She had her V-E-T checkup yesterday and used her very best manners. She came through with flying colors and is wonderfully healthy.
We wonder what she might have been saying. We bet it was something good!
We think we heard her say what a lucky girl she was to have a forever home, lots of brothers and sisters and nice big sunpuddles to lay in…

Chatter away, Ruby!
Great news that she is healthy as she is surely happy! Our little Fitz talks to, well, we are not quite sure who she talks too!
We smiled at Ruby talking to herself – our Mum does that too although she says if she does the replies as well she hears what she wanted to!! Humans are strange!

Ruby seems to be happy enjoying the wonderful day, maybe she was just thanking aloud.
We know what she was doing. She was singing her spring song and telling all the birds how lucky she is to have such wonderful humans and kitty sisters and brothers. We sing that song, too, but usually it’s when Mom is at work. Ruby obviously wanted you to hear. Purrrs
Chirps and squeaks? Maybe she was callin’ the birdies and mousies over for a tea party. Oohhhh…. what fun that would be! purrs
When I chirp like that it me inviting the birdies to come visit and inspect my open mouth *hehehehehe*

My Angel Bobo used to do the same thing! He would sit at the window and “talk” to the birds, it was so cute. Cody NEVER DOES IT!lol
