Shhh, I’m posing like one of my lady’s favorite Dutch engraver/painter’s cats. Cornelis Visscher lived in the early 1600’s. No one knows the name of his sleeping cat but had it been me, I would have made sure everyone knew it!

That snow that Ruby warmly snuggled herself against last week came at the end of the week. While it wasn’t very much on our street, the temperature has stayed below freezing ever since. Late yesterday evening, we got even more flakes, but they say we’ll be warming up later in the week and back on our usual rainy Pacific Northwest schedule… which will melt all this terrific ice on our backyard fountain.

You really have some neat things to look at. When we look outside now, all we see is white. We asked Mom what happened to all our catnip outside and she said it’s gone to sleep. Does your catnip go to sleep, too???
Our Mom says we don’t have any outdoor catnip left because all the outdoor kitties eat it. Silly kitties! Don’t they know catnip is good for stuffing into mousies?
