You might have noticed I’ve been spending the last month or so back here in my luxurious bedroom with my favorite extra-soft fleece blanket instead of my other room with the heated bed near the southern window. Well, I’ve decided moving from room-to-room will be a seasonal thing and not an every day thing. I mean, I don’t want a heated bed in the dead of summer. One of those other cat-like creatures I’m expected to share this room with sometimes loves that and all. But not me.
Just give me my blankie and the northern window with the view of the backyard and this whole bed to myself (mostly) and I’ll call life as good.
Next month I’ll switch things up. Or not! MOL! Gotta keep that lady on her toes!
You are very pretty Miss Ruby and you sure do look comfy! Hey, tell Mr. Quint we got our painting and we are totally in love with it. We have given it a special place of honor here!
Except for Giulietta, who stays on the cat tree, and Astrid, who likes the chair in the sewing room, the rest of us like to move around. We don’t like the humans to find us too easily. We like to catch our Mum out by moving round too but we’re sure she’s fitted us with beepers as she always finds us!

You look nice and comfy there Ruby. I like to change where I sleep too. At the moment I am choosing the bed or my outside shelf or the plant pots. In the winter it will be the recliner by the fire.
