Well, that loud, booming day is upon us once again and Quint doesn’t understand why so much noise is necessary. No sir, he doesn’t like it and we’re not too fond of it either.

As for this day of scary, booming sounds, sorry, sweetie. We don’t understand it either. Our town keeps promising no more fireworks but that decision seems to get pushed back farther and farther in favor of sales and profit. So, in a few hours, we’ll join the kitties under our bed where we’ll make a cool fort and reread out loud the Itty Bitty Kitty Committee book by flashlight.
We don’t loud boomers either but we do love our brofur Boomer. 🙂 Thankfully there won’t be any fireworks where we are today so that’s good!
Your petunias are beautiful as are your loud lilies. Mommy love lilies but has to contend with admiring them from far since they are dangerous for us.

I’m pretty sure my humans will be back before it gets dark – if they go out at all! My human is too worried about people setting off fireworks in our hilly, fire-prone neighborhood!

We think those flowers are prettier than any old boomie fireworks. Mom said if the neighbors get noisy (not to likely out here in the boonies) she’ll read to us too, we thinks that it is a great idea!
