I’m in the garden today, checking out my pretty flowers. You know how much I like the pink ones!
But something’s different today, different from the last time I was out here. I can’t quite put my paw on it.
Let’s see, hmmm. These flowers would be easy to paint. Pretty color, pretty petals. So-so leaves. Maybe that’s what’s different. The leaf colors are… I don’t know.
Upon closer inspection…
… yeah, these leaves just don’t do anything for me. They’re just… blah. You know, leaves. Still, something’s different, maybe a different leaf color. But where?
Wait just a tick! Over there’s another shade of green catching my eye! If I sneak up on it maybe…
Naw, just a different green. Pretty in a deep woodsy kind of way, but not THE one.
Hey now! There it is!
I KNEW it! I thought something was different out here. Color calls to me that way. Dad says this pillow color is called Kiwi.
I like it! This is a great color for leaves… and pillows! Beautiful shade and hue. See how good it looks with my harness, and my eyes *blink blink*? All ginger boys should embrace a good green. I’ll remember this Kiwi color the next time I paint!
Thanks for coming along on my hunt for color!
