We went out to the garden again, the Dad and me, and I bypassed all the other smells and sights to head for this big pink flowering thing. I wanted those flowers so badly! But I couldn’t reach them so I had to be happy with just studying them from “afar” (that means not close enough to bite, Dad says).

I liked those pink flowers so much I knew I’d have to paint a picture of them. So I did, just one though. The others I painted have more purple in them. This special one is mostly shades of pinks and soft green. Mom says the flowers out in the garden are rho-do-den-dron, but in remembering my sister Tessa’s flowers she received last month (and how tasty one of the pedals was), I’m calling the flowers in my painting pink roses instead. Don’t argue with the artist, Mom.

Whichever way, I’m not sure what I’ll do with my one special pink roses painting just yet, but my purple ones and my festive summer ones are ready to find their forever homes at my paint shop! And did you know the soon-to-be-open Pet Blogger Mall is having a sneak peek pre-opening for one day only on Wednesday, May 29th? My shop is there too with lots and lots of other artists and crafts people and we hope you’ll give us all a visit!

    Wow!
    Quint!
This is so neat that we know a Cat Artist! Very cool!
We will try and make the Mall on Wed. If Dad remembers to leave the puter on for us that is. We will put some toys on the stairs to remind him.

And for a bit of fun too, Meow!

  2. Quint, that is really a special piece. No matter what you call it, you have perfectly captured the essence of that hot pink rhododendron. Keep up the pawsomely gorgeous work. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette.

  3. Wow! This is very very nice! Concats to the artist!

  4. Penelope says:

Quint has a lot of talent!

  5. Bernadette says:

Quint, you are a genius! What fine theme and color interpretation of your outdoor experience! We have those big pink r0-do-do… flowers right outside our window and we love them too, as does our human, the artist, who sometimes incorporates her outdoor experiences into her sketches of us, though we don’t understand why black isn’t good enough. Good luck in the Pet Blogger Mall–we hope to hear you’ve sold millions!

  6. Flynn says:

The flowers are lovely and you have done a lovely work of painting them.

  7. Joan Ryan says:

That’s such a lovely painting Quint. I love the pink. You have outdone yourself.

  8. Pawsome Quint you really are a master ARTIST! Your impressionism left an impression on us. Have a marvellous Memorial Day Monday.
    Best wishes Molly

  13. Ann Paws says:

Aw how cool Quint! Looks like a great time you are spending outdoors. And I love the painting – you are quite the artist!

  14. That purple flower looks like my pink one in our garden 🙂 Come and see.. Wonderful artwork as always xx00xx

  15. Dood, we agree, never argue with the artist. Though Maxwell tried that excuse with mommy this week when he hurled 11 times in 2 days – he claimed he was just fang shui-ing his barf and an artist has to get it just right or keep practicing.
    She wasn’t buying it though.
