It’s been rainy outside for a few days now. I guess that means my first summer is really over. *sigh* I liked summer.
You have lots of summers ahead of you, Viola. But we understand. There’s another girl in this house who didn’t like the end of summer once either. You remind us a little of her.

We like summer much better too Viola but we know you will be warm inside your lovely home with Momma Zuzu and your Mom and Dad plus all your siblings. You may even get to see your first snow!!

yep – the end of summer isn’t so nice. but in winter the peeps break out fuzzy blankets and warm airs come out of vents 🙂
Viola, I’ve got the sads too…I love summer! Michigan got the pointy end of the stick with last winter, and now it’s coming back ’round again before I had enough summer to warm my bones. I worry about my friendly feral friends too; they live out there! But Viola, your sweet cutie face is enough to cheer me up…
Yep, it’s sad to see summer go. The cozy blankies and hot air blowers of winter make up for it, though. Will you get to see snow? I’m quite fascinated by snow 🙂
We’re still having some beautiful weather out here in the frozen tundra, but Mom has warned us that it won’t last. We’ll try and send some sunshine your way.

I like summer, too, and hate to see it goin’ away BUT… But when summer leaves, fall arrives and fall brings acorn hockey and leaf chasin’ and then before you know it… CHRISTMAS! And Christmas brings Santa who, as you know, has a good supply of the nip.

I am lucky – around here, Summer never ends! And actually, the weather stays pretty nice for the most part, too.
We’re with you on this one, Viola. We don’t like to see summer end because it means closed windows and no outside time.
My peeps were in rain last week on their mini vacay and dang if it didn’t follow them home. It has been a dreary week and kinda humid…yesterday we had 9/10″ of rain and another 1″ today

I thought our summer was over as well but it got warmer today and the sun was out! Maybe you will have a few more days like that as well.
Hi Viola and Tessa. Summer is definitely over. The leaves are changing and the temperatures are much cooler here, too. Make sure you snuggle up with the others, and with Mom and Dad. That makes the winter a little better. 🙂

We finally got some fairly nice weather with sunshine today after too, too much rain. But summer has definitely left us for another year.
