All the Colehaus Cats are spending extra time with Dad today for Valentine’s Day while Mom is out of town at a speaking engagement. But Pia had had other plans. With no slight to Dad (we’re sure she’ll come running for special attention), she still felt the need to vent just a little.

My mom is out of town today, on Valentine’s Day. Can you believe it?? I had plans! I wanted to be with my sweetheart Dexter, the bestest, dreamiest, most romantic Mancat who ever walked the planet, but nooOOoooooo…. my mom had to be elsewhere on today of all days! Unthinkable!

Pia, dear, Humans are always *such* a disappointment to us. I’m sorry your Mom was soooooooo cold and uncaring, but really, you need to learn not to expect much from them.
Oh Pia, we’re so dreadfully sorry, First World Kitty Problems are the WORST, aren’t they??? I mean, just think of the treat jar inconveniences too. We hope she came home and was properly contrite.
