Newton sleeping. Relaxed yet curled into a ball, one paw draped over, the other tucked against….wait a minute, hold the phone. Is she, no, surely she’s not sucking her thumb??
I most certainly was NOT sucking my thumb. Mom, are you trying to embarrass me? Because I don’t think this is terribly cute. Yes, I was sleeping and well, sometimes my thumb wanders close. I might have been sniffing it for all I know. Sniffing, not sucking. And don’t call me Shirley.
I dunno, Newton. Kind of looks like thumb sucking to me. I guess we’ll have to let the visitors decide. Either way, it’s still cute.

Newton, don’t be embarrassed even if you are having a sly suck on your non-existant thumb. LOADS of apes used to suck their thumbs when they were little, it’s very comforting (apparently) hehe!
