Every other week, unless otherwise warranted, Mom gathers up all the cat bedding and runs them through the laundry. This usually takes a couple of loads and that way, no one goes without something to lay on if their favorite blanket just happens to be in the wash. For the most part, this system works well.
But there always has to be that special snowflake.

It takes us WEEKS to fur and scent up our furnishings just as we like them and then the humans come by and wash them! Looks like you showed her what for though … ~Bear Cat
It does take weeks to get things properly furred and scented. Moms always mess things up! Not just once, either!!!
The cats do get very fond of their nice smelly blankets. Guess, you have to be sneaky and get it if she happens to get up at some point.

I agree with you, Ruby. I don’t like it when my bed is all nasty and clean. It takes a lot of work to get it furred up and smelling just right.
We rarely get our bedding cleaned. We like it nice and furry just the way it is.
