The other day, mom was going through my photos and something someone once said finally made sense. She doesn’t agree with what was said, and neither do I, but I think she understands now.
“Gee, you have too much brown in your house. How can you stand it?”
Hmm… clearly, and according to that person who probably ought to keep those kinds of thoughts to themselves I need color.

So naturally, mom went off the deep end. Not really my cup of nip tea. Maybe change the brown to something else?

Ugh, wasn’t this a color in the 90’s? I don’t think I’d like being a dark teal cat. Then again, I do blend well with the wall…

Well, it’s not brown. I’ll say that much. Blue is kind of pretty and I can appreciate those purple highlights… just not on me, thankyouverymuch.

Mom, don’t let what others say bother you. So what if someone thinks our house is all brown. Try to remember to think contrast and color when taking my picture and everything will turn out just fine.
Miss Newton we think you are lovely with your natural fur to keep you warm. Don’t go for all those other colours you are pretty as you are.

Brown is the color of the earth; it’s serene and holistic. The wild colors Miss Newton is pretty cool, however the last photo of her pretty face is the best!
